What you get

One quote covers the whole system

A full system is more than a boiler swap - it is designed as one job. We survey the property, calculate the heat loss room by room, and quote everything in a single itemised, fixed price.

Room-by-room heat-loss calculation and full system design
New boiler sized to the property, never oversold
Radiators and TRVs sized per room, pipework renewed where needed
Unvented cylinder or combi conversion where it suits the household
Smart controls, zoning and thermostat set up and explained
Power flush, magnetic filter and inhibitor to protect it all
Old boiler, tanks and redundant pipework removed and disposed of
Balanced and commissioned room by room, warranty registered
Building-control notification and Benchmark paperwork handled

Designed once, priced once

No day rates, no "while we were in there" extras. Most full systems take two to four days - we tell you exactly how long yours will take before you commit.

Boiler swap or full system?

When a full system is the right call

The pipework is as old as the boiler

Fitting a new boiler onto corroded or undersized pipework carries the old problems straight into the new system - and can void the warranty.

Some rooms never get warm

Radiators that were never sized to the room, or a system that was extended piecemeal over the years, cannot be fixed by a new boiler alone.

You're renovating or extending

With floors up and walls open it is the cheapest moment you will ever have to renew pipework, add zones and put radiators where they belong.

The system is full of sludge

Black water, cold radiator bottoms and repeat pump failures point to years of corrosion. Past a certain point, replacement beats flushing.

Hot water can't keep up

A growing household often needs a different layout altogether - an unvented cylinder, a bigger boiler, or a move away from gravity-fed tanks.

You want proper control

Heating zones, smart thermostats and TRVs on every radiator only pay off when the system underneath is designed to use them.

Designed as one job

What goes into a full system

Every part is sized against the same heat-loss calculation, so the boiler, radiators and controls work together instead of fighting each other.

The boiler

Combi, system or regular - chosen for the property and hot-water demand, from Worcester Bosch, Vaillant or Baxi, with warranties up to 12 years.

Radiators & pipework

Radiators sized to each room's heat loss, TRVs throughout, and pipework renewed, insulated and clipped where the old runs are past it.

Hot water

An unvented cylinder for mains-pressure water to every outlet, or a combi where the household suits it - installed by G3-qualified engineers.

Controls & zoning

Smart thermostats and separate zones for living and sleeping areas - set up, demonstrated and left working before we leave.

How the job runs

From survey to handover

1

Survey & heat-loss calculation

We measure up room by room - insulation, glazing, hot-water demand - so the system is sized on numbers, not guesswork.

2

Design & fixed-price quote

You get an itemised quote for the whole system - boiler, radiators, cylinder, controls - with what's included written down.

3

Installation

Typically two to four days. Floors and furniture protected, water off for the shortest window we can manage, and the site left clean each evening.

4

Balance, commission & handover

Every radiator balanced, controls demonstrated, warranty registered and the Benchmark paperwork left in your hand.

Full heating system FAQs

How long does a full heating system take?
Most full systems take two to four days depending on the size of the property and how much pipework is being renewed. We confirm the exact duration in the quote, and we keep the water off for the shortest windows we can.
Do I need a full system, or just a new boiler?
If the radiators heat evenly and the pipework is sound, a boiler swap is usually enough - and we will tell you so. A full system earns its keep when the pipework, radiators or layout are the real problem. The survey settles it either way.
Will there be much disruption?
Some - floors may need lifting where pipework is renewed. We protect carpets and furniture, tell you each morning which rooms we are working in, and leave the house tidy and heated at the end of the job.
Can you add heating zones or smart controls?
Yes - a full system is the right moment to do it. Separate zones for upstairs and downstairs, smart thermostats and TRVs on every radiator are all designed in from the start rather than bolted on later.
What warranty comes with a full system?
The boiler carries a manufacturer warranty of up to 12 years (subject to make and model), which we register for you. Cylinders and controls carry their own manufacturer warranties, and our workmanship is guaranteed on top.

Smaller job?

Just need the boiler?

If the rest of your system is in good shape, a straight boiler swap is quicker and cheaper - most are done in a day. Same engineers, same fixed-price quote.
